5 Months!

How time flies! Our baby is now 5 months old! Happy birthday sweetie! May you continue to grow healthy and happy. Your daddy and I loves you so much. Muaah! Anyway, at 5 months, Jaden can now do these things:

- He has mastered rolling! He rolls everywhere that's why we made a special "rolling/crawling area" in our living room so he can practice more. And of course, to make sure he doesn't bump into our furniture.

- He now eats rice cereal mixed with breastmilk and sometimes formula.

- He's "baby" talking a lot these days and more playful too. (though he prefers to play with his dad. jealous! lol!)

- He knows how to do the close/open song! I will post the video here as soon as hubby uploads it from our video camera.

- And lastly, he's starting to show some attitude. LOL!

Dental Care

I had my braces removed last month and went through a thorough dental check-up after that. And then my orthodontist referred me to another dentist for deep cleaning and I also had some of my old fillings replaced. All in all, it cost me almost a thousand bucks to pay for those dental services. Yup, dental care here in the US is so expensive! Good thing we have dental insurance and they paid half of my expenses. My dentist also gave me dental discounts and gifted me with a free whitening for life.

So Excited!

Today's the day that we have been waiting for! And later in the morning (it's past 2am already), Jaden will get to taste his first solid food! We actually got the go signal last week from his pedia but we didn't start feeding him because we went to California. I just hope Jaden won't have any allergic reaction to rice cereal. His daddy and I are very excited but at the same time worried. I really hope and pray that everything will turn out well on our first attempt. Watch out for the pics! :)

Hangover

Our short vacation in California is over but my mind is still on a vacation mode. I don't want to do anything except play online and laze around. I haven't even emptied our luggage yet. And for two days in a row, we have been dining out because I don't feel like cooking. It's not doing us any good because we already put on a couple of pounds during our trip but what the heck, diet pills are out there to save the day! LOL! Naah! Just kidding. I know this "vacay spell" will soon be over so we are enjoying it until we get tired of eating fastfood. Hehe!
